ABOUT VERISIO
We provide supply chain transparency and
compliance to the Modern Slavery Act
Founded in 2013, but with senior management who have been in this industry for nearly thirty years, Verisio truly came into its own with the publication of the UK Modern Slavery Act in 2015. This ground-breaking law requires that all companies understand what is happening in their supply chains. Providing this transparency and compliance to the Modern Slavery Act in different forms is the service we offer to our clients.
WHAT WE DO
Depending on the client’s required level of
robustness, Verisio provides:
Request existing social
compliance audit reports, grade them and follow up on required Corrective Actions (CAPR).
Map the client’s global supply chain that cascades from Tier 1 suppliers, to Tier 2, 3 and beyond, giving a clear understanding of what risks exist at every layer.
Send out Online Risk Assessments which are then given a Desktop Review by qualified auditors.
Perform actual site visits, announced or unannounced, using our expert auditors.
WHAT WE DO
Our Core Service

standard Social Compliance Audits
Using common methodologies such as SMETA or other ETI Base Code audit formats to perform onsite audits and ensure compliance and continuous improvement.

Deep Dive is a cutting-edge audit methodology that uses technology and professional auditors to drive ethical compliance within supply chains and improve labour standards.

Supply Chain Management
Initially mapping, then understanding the entire supply chain and its inherent risks using existing audit data or assessment questionnaires while pushing continuously for corrective actions to be addressed.

Online Self-Inspection Module (OSIM)
Reducing costs by allowing approved factories to perform their own final random inspections (FRI) using our online system. Ideal for retailers and importers looking to save money while still monitoring their quality data consistently.

WHAT MAKES US DIFFERENT
All our auditors are full-time employees
as well as members of the Association of Professional
Social Compliance auditors
In the United Kingdom all of our auditors are full-time employees as well as members of the Association of Professional Social Compliance Auditors (www.theapsca.org) which is our industry’s professional body and sets the highest standards in terms of experience and training. Other large audit firms either employ freelancers or engage Verisio’s services on a white-label basis. Last year we audited over 1700 factory site locations in the U.K. alone.
